Ride2Uni Day – Free coffee and snacks

Bike to uni and grab free coffee, fruit and pastries at the Building 51 Bike Hub on City campus between 8am-10am.

RMIT student and staff are invited to join the RMIT Sustainability team for Ride2Uni on Wednesday 15 October!

Ride2Uni Day is a national initiative that encourages students and staff to add cycling to their daily commute. Held annually in October, the day celebrates the health, financial, and environmental benefits of riding to university or work.

How to participate

  • Step 1 – Find your ride: You don’t need to have the latest and greatest bike. You will be surprised about what you can find in a family or friend’s shed or garage.
  • Step 2 – Plan your ride: If you’re riding to campus for the first time, you might like to plan your ride. You can do this by searching the bike icon in Google Maps. Check out the Bicycle Network guide on how to plan a bike route for more.
  • Step 3 – Enjoy your ride and a snack: Get pedalling and have fun. If you're based on RMIT City campus, park your ride at the Building 51 Bike Hub and grab some end-of-trip refreshments from 8am-10am.

Don’t forget to bring the essentials: Lock, water bottle, and weather-appropriate gear.
