Vocational Education (VE) O Week Events – Semester One

If you are a Vocational Education (VE) student, join RMIT Student Life for some fun on-campus entertainment and activities at your Program Induction days during Orientation Week (O Week)!

VE O Week is a chance for new students undertaking a Certificate I-IV, Diploma or an Advanced Diploma to engage with on-campus activities in Brunswick and Carlton.

Carlton campus

Drop In

Visit the Orientation Drop In and Lounge Tuesday 6 or Wednesday 7 February from 11am-2pm in Building 78. The Drop In will consist of: 

  • Orientation Information booth: get the right info from our friendly staff  
  • Clubs Hub booth: learn more about the all the clubs and societies on offer
  • Campus Tours
  • Meet the student support services, Medibank and Student Life team for fun and informative workshops and stalls 
  • Complimentary coffee and cookies, music, games and a lounge area  
  • Selfie frame, mini golf and badge making

Social Day at Carlton

Visit O'Grady Place from 11am-2pm on Thursday 8 February for a range of activities, including:

  • Welcome to country at 11am
  • Delicious free lunch from Vegilicious
  • Meet the student union RUSU for your chance to win a prize
  • Live music
  • Interactive games to help you connect with your peers.  

 

Brunswick campus

Visit Brunswick on Wednesday 7 February from 12-2pm!

The day will commence with a Welcome to Country at 12pm at the entrance of Building 514, followed by a Drop In session inside at the Student Lounge.

The Drop In will consist of:

  • Campus Tours
