Learn salsa, latin, K-Pop and more at weekly dance classes at City campus.

Dance classes are offered on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the semester (during teaching periods only) in the RMIT Active Hub. Classes are held weekly and cater to both beginner and intermediate levels.

No experience? No worries! Our teachers will show you the basics, and help you learn the moves. We offer a range of dance styles and you can sign up any time.

Note: Free for Funkadelics members and gym members. Sign up here or $5 for casual entry, this can be paid at the RMIT Active Hub reception

 

Salsa (commencing Monday March 16 2026)

Time: Mondays 12:30pm

Location: RMIT Active Hub, Building 8, Level 3    

Description: Salsa with a touch of bachata and tango.

Instructors: Hooman and Dalena Ebadi
 

Latin and Ballroom (commencing Monday March 16 2026)

Time: Mondays 1:30pm

Location: RMIT Active Hub, Building 8, Level 3

Description: Mixed styles including Chacha, salsa and rumba.

Instructors: Hooman and Dalena Ebadi
 

K-Pop

Time: Tuesdays 12:30pm

Location: RMIT Active Hub, Building 8, Level 3

Description: Learn routines from your favourite K-Pop Artists.

Instructor: Jess Nguyen

 

Hip Hop

Time: Tuesdays 1:30pm

Location: RMIT Active Hub, Building 8, Level 3

Description: Choreographed routines and techniques relevant to Hip hop music and culture.

Instructor: Adam Tan

 

Note: All classes are walk in, no booking required. Students can check in upto 30 minutes before the class commences
