Discover delicious, no-cost options to keep you fuelled and focused on campus. Courtesy of RMIT and the RMIT University Student Union (RUSU).

Weekly on-campus free food events during semester, open to ALL RMIT students.

Chill N Grill

Grab a sausage in bread or a vegan burger and hang out with your RUSU crew, while we keep the beats going all afternoon. 

Dates:

  • Semester 1: 2 March to 29 May (HE Weeks 1-12), excluding mid-semester break (3-12 April)
  • Semester 2: 20 July to 16 October (HE Weeks 1-12), excluding mid-semester break (31 August - 6 September)

Kickstart your day with a free breakfast, featuring fruit, brekky foods, noodles, muesli, and more. 

Dates:

  • Carlton:
    • Tuesdays, Building 51 (80-92 Victoria St, Carlton), self-serve brekkie bowl
    • Wednesdays, Building 57 entrance (O'Grady Place, Carlton)
  • Brunswick: Wednesdays, Building 514
  • Bundoora East: Tuesdays, Building 254 courtyard
  • Bundoora West: Mondays, Building 220

VE Smoko

Vocational education/TAFE students, this one is for you. Take a break and join us for a free breakfast! Featuring sandwiches, pies, sweet tunes and RUSU mates. Vegan and vegetarian options available. Food varies from week to week. 

Carlton: Mondays, Building 57 entrance (O'Grady Place, Carlton), 10:30am - 12:30pm

Look for the trolley in your campus library, providing snacks, de-stress tips and support information to help you study better.

Dates:

  • Semester 1: 11 May to 5 June (HE weeks 10-13)
  • Semester 2: 28 September to 23 October (HE weeks 10-13)

Locations, days and times:

  • Brunswick Library: Tuesdays from 11am
  • City and Carlton Libraries: Tuesdays from 4pm
  • Bundoora Library: Thursdays from 11am
