Register to volunteer at Open Day 2024 and help create an unforgettable experience for our visitors!

Be part of the excitement at RMIT Open Day 2024! We're looking for enthusiastic RMIT students to join our central team and help create an unforgettable experience for our visitors.

No RMIT program (course) knowledge or experience is required – everyone is welcome, no matter who you are or where you're from.  

As part of the event crew, you'll work in our bustling welcome tents and on the ground, providing essential wayfinding support. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere, guiding visitors around the campus, and making their day truly memorable.

Important dates and information

Volunteer registrations: Open until 21 July

  • Bundoora Open Day: Sunday 4 August
  • Brunswick Open Day: Sunday 11 August
  • City Open Day: Sunday 11 August

What's in it for me? 

By registering to volunteer on the day, not only will you play a vital part in the biggest event at RMIT, you'll enter the draw to win an iPad (9th Gen WiFi 64GB)!

Who should complete this form?

Complete this form to register for a wayfinding role on Open Day, helping visitors navigate the campus and providing general assistance. This is open to all RMIT students, and no course knowledge is required. You will be working with the central Open Day team on the event day.

Who should not complete this form?

If you have been contacted to perform a specialised role on the day, working directly with your course (program), school, or area, you do not need to complete this form. Your role will be coordinated directly by your respective area. Please reach out to them for further information.
