Census date is important – we're giving away free Krispy Kremes so you DONUT forget it!

Census date is the key deadline for changing or dropping a class, paying fees, finalising credit applications, locking in student loans and more.

If you miss the census date, you may have to pay for a class you don’t want to do.

The census date for standard Semester 1 2026 classes is Tuesday 31 March 2026. To make sure you DONUT forget it, we're giving away free Krispy Kreme donuts at Student Connect locations.

Date: Tuesday 24 March 2026

Time: From 11.30am until donuts run out!

Brunswick campus

Date: Wednesday 25 March 2026

Time: From 11.30am until donuts run out!

Location: Student Connect, Building 514, Level 1
 

Bundoora campus

Date: Wednesday 25 March 2026

Time: From 11.30am until donuts run out!

Location: Student Connect, Building 202, Level 2

Don't know your census date?

The census date for standard Semester 1 2026 classes is Tuesday 31 March 2026. But courses in different semesters/teaching periods have different census dates, so it's best to check the census date for each of your courses in Enrolment Online.
