New! Introduction to Meditation

A free two-session Introduction to Meditation session will be running during Semester 2 2026.

Details

The sessions will introduce multiple styles of meditation, discuss the benefits of meditation as well as the challenges of integrating it into daily life. It will be open to all RMIT staff and students.

Time: 1pm until 2pm

Location: Multifaith & Wellbeing Centre: Building 47, Level 1, Room 8 (8 Orr Street) RMIT City campus

No registration or RSVP required – just come along.

Meditation sessions guided by RMIT's Buddhist Chaplain

Breathe in peace, breathe out stress. 

Hosted by RMIT Buddhist Chaplain Victoria Wilson, guided meditation sessions providing a calm space to relax, reset, and cultivate focus—perfect for managing stress and supporting your overall wellbeing.

Open to all RMIT students and staff. No need to register – just come along.

Time: Every Tuesday from 12:15-1pm until 24 November 2026.

In-person: Multifaith and Wellbeing Centre, Building 47 (8 Orr St, Carlton), Level 1, Room 8, City campus

Earth-held, sky-mind meditation

These sessions blend nondual awareness with grounded mindfulness to help you better access inner calm. Explore your inner ecosystem and more clearly see your place in the social fabric and the wild earth.

Open to all RMIT students and staff. No need to register – just come along.

Time: Every Monday from 12noon-1pm until 24 November 2026.

Neurodiverse Yoga & Meditation Sessions

Supportive weekly sessions designed to help neurodiverse students manage stress and thrive throughout the semester through gentle yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices.

Time: 12:30pm 
Duration: Approximately 30-45 minute 
Location: RMIT Active Hub, Building 8, Level 3, City Campus
Price: $5 per session (pay only for the sessions you attend)
