My name is Matt, my pronouns are he/they, and I am in my final year of studying a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) and Social Science (Psychology). I have lived in Melbourne my entire life in the same house. English is the only language I can speak. I love birdwatching! I go on walks around my neighborhood and love to observe and write down all the birds I see. I also love reading but don't read as much as I would like to.
I’m Chenuli (she/her), I study a Bachelor of Social Work at RMIT. I’m an international student from Sri Lanka, and I grew up in the United Arab Emirates, I speak both English and Sinhalese! I love a good puzzle, cozying up with a book, and exploring Melbourne’s many hidden cafes, especially one that indulges my love for coffee. I’ve also been slowly finding my way back into the theatre world, which has always held a special place in my heart. As someone with a cross-cultural background, I really value the conversations and connections I’ve found at RMIT, and I’m excited to meet you all, hear your stories, and be part of this journey together!
My name is Mitali, I use she/her pronouns, and I am currently in my second year of a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology). I moved from India to Melbourne when I was two years old, however, I only speak English. I love reading and drinking cups of tea. My favourite place to be is the beach, where I enjoy swimming and sitting out in the sun. I also like to hike and go for walks in nature. I have always loved talking to and connecting with people and learning about how different people move through life.
I’m Rabia, I use she/her pronouns, and I’m currently in my second year of a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology). I migrated to Australia from Pakistan when I was around 3 years old, so while I understand and speak Urdu, I’m typically more confident speaking in English. When I’m not studying, I enjoy unwinding with a good book and a cup of chai. I also love watching movies - the second Back to the Future movie is one of my favourites! I find a great deal of joy in meeting new people. For me, every conversation is a chance to connect with others, share experiences, and discover new perspectives.
