Learn to Swim program - semester 1

Build confidence in the water: join our newly formatted Learn to Swim program

Take the plunge with our revamped 8-week program at Melbourne City Baths, right next to RMIT’s Melbourne City campus.

About the program

Whether you are a total beginner or looking to improve your technique, you’ll receive expert instruction from certified swim coaches. Sessions focus on:

  • improving stroke technique
  • boosting water confidence
  • developing essential water safety and survival skills

Our flexible format lets you choose class times that suit you. You will also have access to the pool outside lesson times so you can practise at your own pace. Qualified lifeguards are always on-site to support a safe environment.

You will also have access to the spa and sauna throughout your program, supporting your health, recovery and overall wellbeing.

Women’s only swim lessons are available on Saturday afternoons between 2 pm and 5.15 pm.
