RMIT Three Minute Thesis Final

Come and support the three minute thesis finalists. Each competitor gets three minutes and one slide to explain their research and win over the judges!

Join us for the 2025 RMIT Three Minute Thesis (3MT) final!

The 2025 RMIT 3MT competition has highlighted the diverse research, talent and creative innovation of Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidates across all three colleges at RMIT. See our incredible finalists present their research in just three minutes, with a single slide. The winner will represent RMIT at the 3MT Asia-Pacific finals.

We are also delighted to announce our keynote speaker: Kate Dundas, Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network Australia.

The Three Minute Thesis is a competition that celebrates the exciting research conducted by HDR candidates. Developed by The University of Queensland (UQ), 3MT is now a prestigious international event run by universities all over the world. This competition challenges HDR candidates to present their research to a non-specialist audience in a clear and engaging way in under three minutes, with only one slide to support their presentation.
