Ani Landau-Ward has a Masters in International and Community Development and undergraduate study in architecture, and is associated with the Social and Global Studies Centre at RMIT University.
She teaches in International Studies and works as a research assistant in the Centre for Urban Research. She is currently completing a PhD research project in Global Urban and Social Studies which analyses property administration, in relation to technological disruptions and political change, in three global sites (with cases in Ghana, India and Malaysia).
Her work has recently been published in the Springer Global Encyclopedia of Public Administration, Public Policy, and Governance, the academic journal The New Zealand Journal of SouthEast Asian Studies, and is forthcoming in the volume Urban Asias, Essays on Futurity Past and Present, Berlin: Jovis.
Ms Landau-Ward also brings to her research, and teaching, the benefits of professional and practice experience in community engagement and development, land and housing advocacy, and participatory design.
She is available to hear from other academics and students working on related research, and for student consultations by appointment.
