UNTOLD Naarm: The Next Generation — Strength, Vision and Legacy

Building on the conversations and connections fostered through UNTOLD Naarm series hosted by Agency Projects, the RMIT Library and RMIT School of Design invites you to a special NAIDOC Week event that celebrates 50 years of NAIDOC - a time to honour the enduring strength of First Nations peoples, reflect on the achievements of the past, and look ahead to the vision and leadership of the next generation.

This conversation will spotlight Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander creatives engaged with RMIT as they share their stories, creative practices, and hopes for the future. Through design, storytelling, and dialogue, this conversation will explore how culture and creativity continue to shape futures grounded in truth, resilience, and belonging.

The event will be moderated by Leila Gurruwiwi, a proud Yolngu woman originally from Galiwinku on Elcho Island in North East Arnhem land. Growing up most of her life in Victoria, Leila brings her expertise and warmth to this important conversation.

Date and time: Wednesday 9 July, 1pm-2:30pm.
Venue: Rocking Chair Lounge, Building 12 Level 6 Room 105 (012.06.105). Enter via Building 10 (Library staff can assist).
