How to register
As an OUA student enrolled in units offered by RMIT University, you can order your student card online using MyRMIT. You will find instructions on the RMIT student card page, including steps you can take if you have problems logging in to MyRMIT.
Once you get your student card, you can also join the CAVAL reciprocal borrowing scheme. Apply for a CAVAL card at the Library’s service desk.
With the CAVAL card, you can borrow items from other Victorian universities and TAFE/VE libraries that participate in the scheme.
Online resources
You should receive a letter with your RMIT student number and password – this is your RMIT login. Use it to access computers in the Library and Library e-resources (both on-campus and off-campus).
Are you an OUA student not enrolled through RMIT?
You can still join the Library as a fee-paying borrower. You will find the relevant information under the 'Community and U3A students' heading on this page.
