RMIT has reached a significant point of reflection in our work to prevent and respond to gender-based violence at RMIT, with the release of our Addressing Gender-Based Violence Annual Report 2024.

RMIT is committed to creating a safe space for all staff and students, where everyone feels included, respected and supported.

RMIT has reached a significant point of reflection in our work to prevent and respond to gender-based violence at RMIT, with the release of our Addressing Gender-Based Violence Annual Report 2024.

This report measures progress against our strategic goals set out in the Addressing Gender-Based Violence Strategic Action Plan 2023-2027. It represents a culmination of the dedication of our community to addressing this critical issue and reflects the efforts we have undertaken to create a safe and inclusive environment for all.

The report outlines our prevention and response efforts in 2024, outlining our focus on building awareness of and connection with our services.

Change takes a whole-of-university approach, and we thank students and staff for their commitment to this important cause. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by gender-based violence.

RMIT has no tolerance for gender-based violence. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for everyone and will continue to support those impacted by gender-based violence including sexual harassment, sexual harm and sexual assault.
