International Students: Exploring Visa Options

Find out all you need about pathways to extend your stay in Australia, including skilled, employer-sponsored and 485 visas.

During the session students can learn more about the following:

  • Skilled visas pathways
  • Independent skilled visas
  • Employer-sponsored visas
  • Subclass 485 Temporary graduate visa pathway
  • Victorian independent skilled visa pathway

There will also be time for Q&A’s.

Meet the Facilitators

Mr Damian Marquardt - Victorian Government’s Skilled and Business Migration Program, Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions

Damian is the Manager of the Migration Services team for the Victorian Government’s Skilled and Business Migration Program. He is responsible for the delivery and client services of Victoria’s state nominated skilled, business and investment visa programs.

Ms Natalie Walsh - VIC/TAS Business, Industry and Regional Outreach Officer - Immigration Group, Department of Home Affairs

Natalie is from Business, Industry and Regional Outreach team at the Department of Home Affairs with a key focus on skilled visa pathways for prospective workers.  Natalie works regularly with employers, government agencies and industry groups to assist with understanding the skilled migration program.
