You'll hear from industry leaders, graduate hiring representatives and RMIT about:

  • how AI is changing roles across industries 
  • what employers are increasingly looking for 
  • how students can build AI capability.

Time: 5:00-7:00pm

Location: RMIT University City Campus – Building 80, Level 2, Room 2

Delivery: This is primarily an in-person networking event, however, online attendance will also be available for students unable to attend on campus.

Catering will be provided during the networking section of the evening.

RMIT’s Response — The AI in Practice Minor

A look at RMIT’s interdisciplinary AI in Practice Minor and the role of AI capability across disciplines presented by a represetative from The RAIsE Hub (RMIT Artificial Intelligence Advanced Innovation Experience).

 

Panel — AI in the Real World

A conversation with representatives from ANZ, Microsoft and the Australian Institute of Family Studies (AIFS) about how AI is reshaping roles across industries, what employers are looking for, and what this means for students entering the workforce.

 

Ask Me Anything — Getting Hired in Australia

Winner of Victoria's Emerging Leader – International Alumni Award and IBM employee Emily Chin, and ACS Stakeholdoer Relations Manager, Lance Encabo answer audience questions around:

  • CVs
  • interviews
  • graduate programs

  • AI capability expectations.
