Wiluan was presented with the honour at the Singapore Institute of Management RMIT graduation ceremony in Singapore this week, celebrating his leadership in the media and technology sectors across Southeast Asia.
As Chief Executive of Nongsa Digital Park (an Indonesian digital innovation hub) and Infinite Studios (its flagship creative media company), he has played a pivotal role in advancing the region’s media, technology and creative industries through a distinctive integration of industry, education and innovation.
Wiluan’s vision has helped position Southeast Asia as an emerging centre for digital content production, creative enterprise and cross-border partnerships.
His contributions have been recognised internationally, alongside his broader leadership in advancing creative industries, entrepreneurship and regional collaboration.
Guided by a passion for storytelling and a commitment to industry transformation, Wiluan established Infinite Studios as an internationally recognised production company, working with global partners including Warner Media, Disney and Netflix.
Under his leadership, Nongsa Digital Park has evolved into a dynamic digital and creative hub linking Indonesia and Singapore, bringing together global technology companies, start-ups, creative practitioners and education providers. The ecosystem supports digital skills development, innovation and investment, while creating employment and economic opportunity.
A strong advocate for industry-connected education, Wiluan founded Infinite Learning (the educational division of Infinite Studios) to deliver training aligned to the needs of the digital economy.
Through partnerships with organisations including RMIT, IBM and the Apple Developer Academy, Wiluan has supported the development of capabilities in software development, digital design, animation and emerging technologies.
The enduring collaboration between Infinite Learning and RMIT, established five years ago, has strengthened opportunities for applied learning, workforce development and international engagement.
Wiluan has also made notable contributions as a filmmaker and producer, including directing Buffalo Boys, which was Singapore’s official submission for the 91st Academy Awards.
