Dr Jozica Kutin has been invited to deliver the Rhoda Karpatkin Consumer International Award Lecture at the American Council on Consumer Interests Conference in Washington, D.C. May 2020. The Award was established in 2005 to honour the pioneering work of Rhoda Karpatkin to enhance the welfare of consumers throughout the world. Recipients of this award have made significant contributions to the welfare of consumers on the international stage.
Dr Kutin was selected for her work to define economic abuse in young adult relationships and to design interventions to build awareness and resources to address this issue. The 30 minute lecture planned for the General Session on Thursday 21 May 2020, will now be presented online as the conference plans to go virtual in this COVID19 era.
