New Research on Older Australians - Response to COVID-19 and Experiences of Aging

Professor Kate Westberg was an invited speaker at the Australian Association of Social Marketing (AASM) August Webinar focused on discussion insights, challenges and opportunities on how social marketers can work effectively with older Australians.

Kate discussed her recent research that explored the experiences of ageing, ageism and the implications on the wellbeing of older Australians. Other speakers included Dr Amy Wilson, Research and Insights Analyst at the Global Centre for Modern Ageing in Adelaide who presented research on older Australians’ response to COVID-19 and Mel Lambert from Think Human, also from Adelaide, on building a positive identity and purpose in later life,
