In late July, Professor Kate Westberg was an invited speaker at the AASM’s lunchtime session focused on the latest practices, trends and opportunities in behaviour and social change from the 2019 World Social Marketing Conference held in Edinburgh in early June.
Kate spoke about how a practice theory approach can provide insight to social marketers and the research approaches best suited to uncovering practices. The session also featured Lelde McCoy from The Reputation Group who presented the six top trends from the Conference, including new approaches and campaigns demonstrating best practice. Rik Baas, from BAAS Behaviour, talked about behaviour change and how to boost motivation through autonomy and co-creation.
