AFL Review Centre opens new opportunities for students and researchers

RMIT, in partnership with JAM TV and the AFL, is offering exciting new opportunities for researchers and students through the AFL Review Centre.

As part of our commitment to preparing our students for life and work, RMIT is working with the AFL and JAM TV to develop new avenues for contemporary collaboration that will provide our students and research community with real life experiences.

The collaboration is the result of many months of planning and discussion and represents unrivalled industry integration, where our students will be co-located with industry in the AFL Review Centre (ARC) at Marvel Stadium as part of practical, productive internships.

They’ll have access to the newest and best sports technology and media facility in Australia, fitted with cutting-edge technology to rival any facility around the globe, and learn real skills that will prepare them for careers in the sport, media and entertainment industries.

The ARC is also about creating new research opportunities, where we’ll work with the AFL to solve real world problems, keeping players safer and responding to the evolving needs of fans.

Education and sport both play a significant role in society and, by combining forces, we create the ability to reach into our communities and help build and introduce new concepts around jobs and innovation.
