Statement: Victorian Higher Education State Investment Fund

The Victorian Higher Education State Investment Fund is a significant investment in the future of tertiary education and research across our great state, as we manage through the many challenges associated with COVID-19.

This package acknowledges the crucial contributions the university sector makes to the economy and our society, as well as the vital role we will continue to play in boosting Victoria’s productivity.

Over the next stage of our state’s recovery, we’re committed to working in partnership with the Government to conduct world-leading research, upskill and reskill the workforce, and drive a sustainable future for Victoria.

On behalf of the RMIT community, we sincerely thank the Premier, Treasurer and Minister for Higher Education, Training and Skills for their support and commitment during these unprecedented times.
