RMIT’s IT Services team is working to resolve some issues that have impacted access to some of the University’s supported applications and systems.

RMIT has now restored access to the majority of IT systems that were affected by an outage last week.
Key systems including Enrolment Onlne, our learning and teaching platform Canvas, and student email are all fully accessible.
We look forward to welcoming our Higher Education students when they commence their Semester One studies from tomorrow, Monday 1 March.

RMIT has made significant progress in restoring access to the majority of IT systems that were affected by an outage last week.
Online and on-campus classes for RMIT’s Vocational Education, Flight School, Urban School and RMIT Online are proceeding this week as scheduled.
We are looking forward to welcoming our Higher Education students when they commence their Semester One studies next week.
Update 2.00pm Monday 22 February 2021
RMIT has made significant progress in restoring access to many of the IT systems that were affected by an outage last week.
On-campus classes are proceeding as scheduled and we look forward to welcoming students to a range of Orientation activities on campus this week.
RMIT staff will continue to work remotely to make it easier for restoration activities to continue at pace.

RMIT’s IT Services team is working to resolve some issues that have impacted access to some of the University’s supported applications and systems
From the analysis undertaken to date, which has been independently validated, there is currently no evidence to suggest any data breaches as a result of these issues.
From Monday 22 February classes will resume on campus as scheduled for Vocational Education, Urban School and Flight School along with critical Higher Degree Research (HDR) activities.
RMIT staff will continue to work remotely, with access to critical systems including Office 365 and Canvas.

From the analysis undertaken to date, which has been independently validated, there is currently no evidence to suggest any data breaches as a result of these issues.
To enable essential remediation works to progress as quickly as possible, online and in-person classes have been cancelled and our campuses are closed today (Friday 19 February).
The small cohort of students who were scheduled to have face-to-face classes have been contacted directly.
These measures will allow us to resolve the issues as quickly as possible and ensure we are providing students with access to all the systems they need for the right learning experience.
RMIT staff can continue to work remotely during this time and we will provide our people with further information today.
