RMIT SDGs Research Network

RMIT SDGs Research Network

The SDGs Research Network aims to bring together RMIT academics to share their ideas about engaging with the SDGs in their research, to discuss experiences and challenges, and to foster collaboration. Ultimately it is hoped the SDGs Research Network will help grow and deepen SDG-engaged research at the University to enhance our collective research impact.

Established in 2021, the SDGs Research Network brings together RMIT academics to share their ideas, foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and deepen their research impact around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in real world policy and practice.

RMIT’s recent success in the THE TIMES SDGs Impact Ranking reflects the work many researchers have been doing on the SDGs across the University. Network members come from the Colleges of Business and Law, Design and Social Context, STEM and Vocational Education), as well as RMIT Europe and RMIT Vietnam. New members welcome.

The following crosscutting themes emerged from the launch of the network last year. If you are interested in collaborating with colleagues across the University, then please get in touch with the theme contacts, or alternatively propose one you would like to lead.

Thematic Working Groups:

The network activities complement existing work at RMIT e.g. Circular Economies, Urban Research, Science Research, International Development.
