STEM College student prizes

Awards recognising STEM College students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements and leadership skills.

Student prizes celebrate students from the STEM College for their academic accomplishments, leadership skills, community engagement and their personal and professional achievements throughout the previous academic year.

Student prizes are awarded across all four STEM College schools for programs ranging from certificates through to PhDs.

School of Computing Technologies

The School of Computing Technologies is a centre for digital innovation, world class research, and education in STEM via streamlined collaboration across relevant disciplines.

We place a significant emphasis on diversity and interdisciplinarity, and aspire to transform the future of technology through integration of varied perspectives and through our distinctive research.

The DECUS Software Innovation Award

The prize is awarded annually to a high-performing final-year undergraduate or postgraduate student enrolled in the Software Engineering program at RMIT University, who demonstrates exceptional creativity and innovative thinking.

Freemasons Foundation Victoria Award

Awarded to a first year Computer Science or Software Engineering student who has experienced financial hardship combined with academic achievement, innovation, leadership and/or other outstanding contributions in the previous academic year.

Awarded to the best undergraduate student in Cyber Security in their penultimate year.
