Areas of research and consulting experience
- Non-linear analysis of reinforced and prestressed concrete structures, ductility and bond mechanics of RC and PC structural elements.
- Rehabilitation (strengthening and crack repair) of concrete structures using Fibre Reinforced Polymers (FRP).
- Design of new structures with FRP bars as internal reinforcement.
- Corrosion of reinforcement
- Long term behaviour of Reinforced and Prestressed Concrete Structures including shrinkage and creep of concrete
- Teaching and Learning, project based learning, women in engineering
- Design of multi-storey reinforced concrete buildings.
