As part of Radiant Pavilion 2026, Melbourne's Contemporary Jewellery and Object Biennial, RMIT University opens the doors to the W.E. McMillan Collection – Australia's only ongoing collection of student and alumni jewellery and object works. It's a rare chance to trace decades of shifting materials, techniques and ideas through the hands of the makers who shaped them.
Hosted by RMIT's Cultural Collections, these free ticketed sessions offer intimate access to selected pieces, plus a short introduction to the collection's story and space for questions and discussion.
Whether you're a collector, curator, educator, jeweller, student or simply curious – this is a chance to see why cultural collections matter: as living archives of learning, research and inspiration.
