Authors donating signed books include Christian White, Sean Wilson, Peta Murray and David Carlin, Robbie Arnott, Will Cox and Anna Downes. There is a painting by Steven Rendall, an original sketch by Cathy Doe (Irukandji/Yirrganydji), a print by illustrator Marc Martin and several other works of art contributed by our community.
The auction is open to the public, as part of RMIT University's Great Book Swap activities. Winning bidders will be asked to contribute directly to RMIT's Great Book Swap fundraising page to claim their items.
The Great Book Swap celebrates reading locally and raises funds for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation – a national charity working with remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities across Australia. The Foundation provides books, literacy and publishing opportunities for remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities across Australia.
