Hosted by the RMIT Centre for Business and Human Rights and the Macquarie Law School, this virtual Symposium will nurture the next generation of business and human rights scholars.

Hosted by the RMIT Centre for Business and Human Rights and the Macquarie Law School, this virtual Symposium will nurture the next generation of business and human rights scholars. 

The Symposium is open for doctoral candidates conducting research in the diverse field of business and human rights as well as candidates focused on interrelated research fields such as CSR, Responsible Business Conduct, sustainability etc. (Particpants need not be writing on 'Decolonising Business and Human Rights'. We encourage participants from a broad range of topics.)

The Symposium will provide participants with the opportunity to receive constructive and interactive feedback from leading scholars in their field on key pieces of writing, with dedicated time to discuss how to take your piece of writing to the next level. Leading scholars and practitioners will unpack and explore what 'Decolonising Business and Human Rights' means both in theory and in practice, for researchers as well as for businesses. Building on the success of last years symposium, we will offer participants engaging ways to interact with each other with a focus on creating and setting up productive opportunities for research collaborations. 

The Symposium aims to provide space for open discussion, knowledge sharing and interaction between doctoral candidates, leading scholars and practitioners in the field of business and human rights to further our collective understanding of how we can contribute to Decolonising Business and Human Rights. 

The Symposium is free for all participants.
