COVID-19 - update

All Victorian RMIT campuses and locations will remain temporarily closed, except for permitted activities until 11.59pm Tuesday 27 July.

During lockdown, limited learning, teaching or research activities are permitted on campus or in the field. 

All shared spaces on campus will remain closed including the Library, gyms and fitness centres, retail and hospitality, theatres and galleries, and RMIT Bundoora Health Clinic. 

RMIT has rigorous COVIDSafe practices and protocols in place and we are ready to reopen our campuses as soon as Government advice allows. 

We look forward to seeing our students and staff back on campus very soon. 

Bundoora testing clinic and vaccine roll-out

To play our part in keeping the community safe, RMIT is assisting the Department of Health by providing a dedicated public secure outdoor space for a drive through COVID-19 testing clinic at our Bundoora East Campus.

The drive-through facility operates from 9am – 5pm Monday to Sunday (hours may adjust according to weather conditions and testing demand). 

The COVID-19 testing facility maintains stringent infection control standards and is cordoned off to the general public, with no access from the facility to our Bundoora East Campus facilities.

RMIT is also supporting access for the community to COVID-19 vaccination, with the RMIT Medical Hub on our city campus providing both Astrazenca and Pfizer vaccinations.  You can find out more information here.
