RMIT Online introduces stackable credentials to fast-track talent to high demand jobs

RMIT Online has today launched its Future Skills Credit Pathway to Degrees initiative, allowing students greater flexibility to stack short course qualifications into postgraduate qualifications.

Through the initiative, students who have completed approved Future Skills courses will be able to earn credit towards Graduate Certificates and MBA qualifications. Students can undertake an RMIT Online Future Skills two-course combination which is deemed equivalent to 12 credit points, or one subject of approved post-graduate qualifications.

Currently, eleven Future Skills programs have an approved credit pathway to eight RMIT higher education programs within the College of Business and Law (COBL) and College of Design and Social Context (DSC). More programs and Future Skills combinations are likely to be added in the future.

The pathway reinforces RMIT Online’s commitment to supporting individuals and the economy through lifelong learning journeys, with experiences that can be tailored and accessed according to the student’s individual circumstances and needs.
