Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS)
Your Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS) is an Australian Government initiative that details the nature, level, context and status of your studies (including your grades) in a particular higher education program.
It is designed to assist in the national and international recognition of Australian qualifications and to promote the international mobility and professional recognition of Australian graduates.
It is also an official record of your studies in a particular higher education program at RMIT University.
AHEGS is available for higher education students who graduated from 1 December 2011 onwards.
When applying for study at other institutions, to provide evidence of the courses you have enrolled in and the results you achieved for a specific program you studied at RMIT.

*If you don’t want your academic statements to be automatically issued in digital format, you must register your choice to opt out with RMIT Connect at least one month before you complete your program.
If you have a debt to the University you will not be able to request any academic statements until the debt is cleared – please contact RMIT Connect to arrange payment.

Automatic issue for graduating students: usually processed within 2 weeks of graduating.
Request for digital or hard copy format: usually processed within 2 business days of submitting the online request.
