The Certificate IV in Justice is part of a program sequence that includes the Diploma of Justice and the Advanced Diploma of Justice.
At the Certificate IV level, you’ll gain foundational knowledge of and skills related to the key concepts of criminal justice, including the components and function of the justice system, judicial processes and the administration of the law.
At the Diploma level, you’ll gain a higher level of skills including examining the elements of crimes, working within family violence contexts, conflict resolution and providing client services that address diversity and special needs.
At the Advanced Diploma level, you’ll learn strategies for understanding, preventing and investigating criminal activities and develop knowledge, skills and attitudes in:
- case management
- youth justice
- research and analysis.
Graduates of the RMIT Advanced Diploma of Justice with a Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher gain guaranteed entry into any one of the School of Global Urban and Social Studies Bachelor degrees.
