Pro Vice-Chancellor and General Director RMIT Vietnam

Professor Claire Macken is the Pro Vice-Chancellor and General Director, RMIT Vietnam.

Professor Claire Macken (BA, LL.B(Hons), GCHE, GCAIB, MBA, PhD) is the Pro Vice-Chancellor and General Director of RMIT Vietnam.

She has accountability for delivering RMIT’s strategic ambitions and aspirations and the overall performance of RMIT Vietnam. Professor Macken is the Chief Representative of RMIT as it relates to key external relationships in Vietnam and as the senior officer has accountability for RMIT’s compliance with relevant legislation, legal and ethical standards in Vietnam.

Professor Macken has previously held positions as Executive Dean (Academic and Students) at RMIT Vietnam and as the Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor Learning and Teaching in the College of Business and Law at RMIT University in Australia. Her career spans both higher education and business, having also held senior roles at other universities, Apple and KPMG.
