About

We focus on teaching and research that is underpinned by an evidence based approach and a commitment to translating fundamental science into better health outcomes.

An interdisciplinary approach, strong links with industry and government, and purpose-built facilities empower us to meet the changing demands for global health solutions.

Our programs provide accredited pathways to professional careers or postgraduate research, and produce health practitioners with skills that are valued in Australia and around the world.

Many of our programs feature Work Integrated Learning as an intrinsic part of their teaching, either in partner industries or through the University’s state-of-the-art student led clinical facility located at Bundoora's University Hill.

Primarily based at the RMIT Bundoora campus west, the School of Health and Biomedical Sciences undertakes teaching and research across three academic clusters.
