Domestic applicants can apply for Guaranteed Pathways through VTAC or Direct to the University, please check the program apply page to see which method is right for you.

Each pathway will have their own code on VTAC. Refer to the list of participating pathways for more details on what each of these codes are.

Currently our Guaranteed Pathways options are only available to Australian citizens, permanent residents and New Zealand citizens. We recommend that international students contact Study@RMIT for advice regarding pathway options.

Applicants who have completed VCE Vocational Major will be eligible for some of the pathway options with diploma or advanced diploma entry points. Please refer to the VTAC course search for specific entry requirements.

Some entry qualifications will require an ATAR or an additional selection task. Please refer to Pathways or VTAC for entry requirements, prerequisites and additional requirements.

Students will be required to pass their entry point qualification in order to gain access to the bachelor degree when enrolled in a Guaranteed Pathways option.

Prerequisites may vary based on the pathway and program. Refer to VTAC and Pathways for details on the prerequisites for all Guaranteed Pathways options.

Successful completion of VCE refers to any student who receives their VCE certificate (which includes unscored VCE). Further information regarding the requirements to obtain the VCE can be found on the VCAA website.

Yes, students can choose to exit their pathway and graduate from the entry point qualification.

SNAP students can include these pathway options within their preferences and be considered as per any other program available on VTAC. They are still required to apply for SEAS Category 1 to be considered for the SNAP program.

Free TAFE will be acknowledged where it is available for the entry point qualification.
