Invitation to attend the release of the first report on the future of a digital CBD in Melbourne and Beyond

You are invited to the release of our first report for the Digital CBD Project which outlines the opportunity areas for a digital CBD and the broad research agenda we are undertaking as part of developing a digital roadmap for Victoria.

Join the RMIT Blockchain Innovation Hub, the RMIT Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation and the RMIT Digital Ethnography Research Centre, as they unveil this framework and explore how businesses, non-profit organisations, municipalities and policymakers can adapt to the post-COVID digital economy, and directly engage the public on digital opportunities.

The key strategic question this report raises is how Victoria's position in the global economy will change as a result of global digital uptake and how we might optimise that transformation.

Find out more from our panel of experts:

  • Tom Bentley, Executive Director of RMIT's Policy & Impact
  • Distinguished Professor Jason Potts, Co-Director of RMIT's Blockchain Innovation Hub
  • Associate Professor Chris Berg, Co-Director of RMIT's Blockchain Innovation Hub
  • Professor Matthew Warren, Director of RMIT's University Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation
