What is Impact Agency?

Impact Agency is a semester-long program designed to cultivate a student’s professional experience, skillset and toolbox by navigating, collaborating and solving real-world challenges.

An intensive playground where students co-create and lead a modern style organisation, working on a diverse range of challenges sourced from start-ups, corporates, NGOs or government.

Why students join Impact Agency:

Real world experience

Cultivate your professional skillset, toolbox and practice

Build workplace knowledge

Gain a deep understanding of working in modern organisations

Professional networking

Build connections with some of the top industry teams, start-ups, corporates and NGOs

Solve pressing problems

Work on meaningful solutions for complex challenges we face in society today

How does it work?

The Impact Agency is run like any modern organisation/agency - students work in teams to tackle real industry challenges, designing novel solutions and testing them with real customers. Our challenges are sourced from start-ups, corporates, NGOs or government problems.

Projects are aligned to three key thematic areas:

  1. Emerging tech for good
  2. Social impact
  3. Education futures

Who is it for?

Presently, Impact Agency is for students undertaking their Applied bachelor degree from the College of Business and Law who are undertaking the work-integrated learning (WIL) component of their degree.
