Donate Your Used Books for the Great Book Swap 2026
In this first event from the Regenerative Futures Institute (RFI) Speaker Series, ‘I Brought a Thing’, Ricarda Bigolin (School of Fashion and Textiles) and Laura Main (Activator Entrepreneurial Programs) join us to explore wool from their distinct perspectives, uncovering unexpected connections between design, making, sustainability and the systems that shape how we live.
Expect one hour of ideas, contrast and conversation – and a fresh way of looking at something we thought we knew.
Where: RMIT University Swanston Library, City Campus, Library Soft Seating Lounge. Building 12, Level 5, Room 106. Enter via Building 10.
Each month, two RFI Fellows from different disciplines sit down with one material (the stuff we mine, weave, wire and pour) to ask what a more regenerative relationship with it could look like. Four conversations, one season, on selected Tuesdays from August to November 2026, 12pm–1pm, Rocking Chair Lounge, Swanston Library.
