The Creative Edge: Championing student success in the age of AI

Please join us for a keynote, discussion and morning tea.

Higher education institutions play a pivotal role in preparing all students for life and meaningful career success in the age of AI. From generative AI to augmented and virtual reality, every career – and indeed, every aspect of the human experience – is being affected by these new technologies.

Today’s students are the first generation who can leverage AI tools to increase productivity, streamline routine tasks and reach new levels of creative thinking, innovation and collaboration as future employees or entrepreneurs.

This talk shares recent research from Edelman and Adobe on the rise of essential creative and AI skills, as well as how students can best display them to employers through micro-credentials and other formats.

Real-world examples will show how their campuses are implementing strategic initiatives to prepare students for career and lifelong success amid technological change and emerging, in-demand industry skills.

Morning tea will be served at 11am, with the seminar starting at 11:30am.

Where: Ngargee Auditorium, Building 106, Level 7, 222 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne.
