Cross-campus enrolment guide – Inbound students

For students at RMIT Vietnam who have been approved to undertake study at RMIT Melbourne.

Before you enrol for cross-campus studies in Melbourne, you must:

  • Be active in a program at RMIT Vietnam
  • Have applied for and been accepted for cross-campus studies through Global Experience's Mobi system
  • Have paid all the associated fees
  • Have received your course request outcome.

Enrol in courses you’ll be undertaking during your cross-campus study in Melbourne via Enrolment Online by following steps in the Higher education enrolment guide – International students. Log in to Enrolment Online with your RMIT email address and password. Forgotten your password? Reset it.

When adding classes stated in your course request outcome, search for the course under ‘Class search’.

As part of your visa conditions, you must be enrolled in 48 credit points per semester unless approval has been given for 36 credit points.

You’ll need to settle all associated fees before leaving Vietnam.

Note: as part of the enrolment process, you will need to provide an Australian mailing address. If you haven’t found any accommodation in Melbourne yet, please use the following address as your mailing address:

  • RMIT, 124 La Trobe Street, Melbourne VIC 3000

It’s important that the contact details on your student record are up to date. Once you’ve found permanent accommodation in Melbourne, update your address by following the instructions to Update your personal details.

To extend or cancel your cross-campus studies

If you wish to extend or cancel your cross-campus studies, contact the Global Experience Office.

Once you’ve completed your cross-campus study and returned to your home country, update your mailing address by following the instructions to Update your personal details.

Transcripts

Your academic transcript will show a note stating that you’ve completed a mobility activity at RMIT Melbourne, together with grades for courses you’ve completed in Melbourne which will count towards your GPA.
