If you’ve just missed the English requirement for your course, you may still be eligible for an offer. By successfully completing an approved English Language Test, you can show you meet RMIT’s Minimum English Language Requirements and we’ll consider your results for future offer rounds.
RMIT accepts a range of tests, including IELTS and Pearson (PTE Academic).
Check the Minimum English Language Requirements for accepted tests and score levels for your course.
Applicants can choose to complete English language tests through RMIT UP.
If you’re a VTAC applicant, you can submit your results through one of the following options:

If you meet all these criteria, you will receive an email from RMIT after the Semester One census date. You will be required to complete a reimbursement form and provide your Australian bank details and proof of payment to the test centre. If you supply this, RMIT will reimburse the cost of your test up to a maximum of $475*.
*This maximum reimbursement amount is based on the standard cost of an IELTS test in Australia.
Our friendly staff at Study@RMIT are available five days a week to assist you.
