Primary major

Be exposed to the ideas and strategies of some of Australia’s newest and established entrepreneurs. In studying entrepreneurship, developed with industry partners, gain the confidence and entrepreneurial skills to launch and manage exciting new business ventures.

Entrepreneurship

Complete the following Six (6) subjects:

  • BUSM1311 The Foundations of Entrepreneurship (12cp)
  • BUSM1321 Driving Innovation in Organisations (12cp)
  • BUSM4052 Applied Entrepreneurship (12cp)
  • BUSM4054 Entrepreneurship and Global Challenges (12cp)
  • BUSM1325 New Venture Creation (12cp)
  • BUSM4583 Entrepreneurial and Innovation Ecosystems (12cp).

AND

Select and complete Two (2) subjects from the following list from the Entrepreneurship Major:

  • BUSM4702 Social Enterprise and Innovation (12cp)
  • BAFI1008 Corporate Finance (12cp)
  • BUSM4756 RMIT Fastrack Innovation Challenge (12cp)
  • BUSM2615 Open Innovation (12cp).

Before undertaking multiple majors, you must ensure there is no overlap in core or your choice of option courses.
