We target problems that have a direct impact, focusing on solving practical real-world problems by bringing the cutting-edge of AI to Industries including Transport, Food & Agriculture, and Advanced Manufacturing.
We focus on software technologies for intelligent collaboration between humans and robots, applying this to problems which are too dangerous or tedious for humans to complete themselves. We believe in working with robots, and other automated systems to improve our lives, rather than having these robots and systems replace us.
We develop algorithms that find the optimal solutions and plans of action for complex problems. Our expertise includes nature-inspired and large-scale optimisation, operational research, machine learning assisted optimisation, multi-objective optimisation, automated planning and reactive synthesis. We have applied this in transportation, manufacturing, logistics and energy.
Many real-world problems are far too complex for a single human mind to handle, instead our capacity to solve these complex problems can only be enhanced by augmenting it with automated decision making. These systems range from autonomous vehicles, training systems, personal assistants and recommender systems.
We build machines to see! Our technologies can imagine generating photorealistic artefacts to fill the gaps; from inspecting faults in assembly lines, identifying weeds in fields, to locating targets from satellite footage, our technologies keep an eye on the task without rest!
We develop models and algorithms to improve user experience in areas such as games, interactive storytelling and AR/VR applications. We also push the boundaries of AI algorithms in complex domains like training in advanced manufacturing.
We work with machine learning techniques that enable machines to learn and recognise patterns from vast amounts of data. We have expertise in reinforcement learning, deep learning and neural networks, and data analytics, among others, to solve specific problems for a wide range of stakeholders.
