Established as a practice in 1987 by Serge Biguzas and David Balestra, BBP Architects have been responsible for a variety of projects ranging from master planning, commercial work, multi-residential projects through to residential and interior projects.
Recognised for their creativity and commitment to design, BBP Architects constantly challenge the parameters of design in their desire to achieve excellence. It is this desire that leads BBP in the constant evaluation of their work as a source of inspiration and generation of new designs. BBP has established themselves as a significant and innovative group in contemporary design culture.

Serge Biguzas is a founding partner of BBP Architects and has experience in a wide range of projects ranging from; commercial, institutional, multi-residential, and residential projects. Serge graduated RMIT with a Bachelor of Architecture. He has been instrumental in establishing the practice and has been involved in major commercial and residential design projects. 

Serge teaches, mentors and lectures at Deakin University in architectural design and is currently teaching in the Master of Architecture studio. Previously he has also taught Architectural design at RMIT University and the University of Melbourne. He is a practicing and registered member of the AIA (Australian Institute of Architects). He has been a member of numerous institute committees including a tenure as an AIA Victorian Chapter councillor. His interest lies in developing concept and master planning and facilitating large projects at a high level of detail. Outside of work, Serge enjoys competitive tennis.
