Established in 2022, MicroRisk Group is a specialist consultancy based in Melbourne, focused on workplace risk management and systems safety. MicroRisk Group work predominately in the dangerous goods and major hazard sectors, however, work with clients in all high-risk industries. With extensive regulatory and private sector experience, MicroRisk Group aim to bridge the gap between regulation and practice with pragmatic risk advice which is outcome focused.

Michael Eather commenced his career in 2003 in the chemical sector, becoming a safety advocate in the workplace. Michael completed a Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety and later a Master of Occupational Health and Safety at RMIT. In 2015, Michael joined WorkSafe Victoria and undertook several technical and leadership roles; later leading a multi-agency Dangerous Goods Taskforce which responded to the effects of the 2018 West Footscray fire. In 2023, Michael was admitted to Australian Institute of Health and Safety College of Fellows.


Sarina Serovski

Sarina is an accomplished leader and safety professional with extensive experience across regulation, manufacturing, logistics, and construction. Sarina completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) with Honours at RMIT. She later studied Work Health and Safety at Federation University. Prior to establishing MicroRisk Group, Sarina held a variety of technical and leadership roles at WorkSafe including as the Project Manager of the West Footscray fire site remediation project.
