Property Services

Property Services manages the operations, maintenance and development of RMIT's property portfolio on all of its onshore campuses.

Property Services is responsible for:

  • The operation, maintenance and enhancement of all owned buildings;
  • The management of leased premises;
  • The management of construction of new facilities and ensuring provision of associated support services in a sustainable way; and
  • The maintenance and development of the external environment

In order to ensure regulatory compliance, uniformity and equity, Property Services is the only authorised provider of these services to the RMIT community.

Property portfolio

RMIT Property Services is responsible for managing the University's portfolio of properties, valued at over $2 billion and encompassing 109 buildings across all RMIT's Australian campuses and sites. The University's associated land holding is 67.3 hectares (166.3 acres) *.
