Over decades, the Cyberfeminism Index, compiled by Mindy Seu, has collated the multiplicity of practices that engage with the term ‘cyberfeminism.’

In Seu’s telling, the term, which came into usage in the early 1990s, “was meant as an oxymoron or provocation, a critique of the cyberbabes and fembots that stocked the sci-fi landscapes of the 1980s.”

Join artist Xanthe Dobbie for a collaborative reading and discussion on a chapter of this index and learn more about its history in one of our On-Site workshops.
