RMIT Alumni Business Directory celebrates award-winning first year

The directory has received a bronze Circle of Excellence Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) for its pioneering digital platform.

04 August 2025

The platform, launched in July last year, builds alumni engagement by promoting businesses founded or managed by RMIT alumni. It boasts over 300 listings, 30,000 views and strengthens professional connections globally.

As its reputation grows, the directory has fostered increased support among peers and strengthened professional connections.

To date, it features over 300 listings, offering over 100 exclusive discounts and special offers to RMIT alumni and staff.

Garnering over 30,000 views, the directory's influence continues to expand.

Anne-Marie Yee, founder of O Gosh Shop, said she was thrilled that O Gosh Shop has been included.

“We’ve already seen visitors from the directory and received orders using the discount,” she said.

Carmen Gould, Director Global Marketing, reflected on the directory's impact.

“It’s wonderful to see the platform bringing our global alumni community together, delivering value and benefits to these businesses and their dedicated founders,” she said.

“Being recognised by CASE is an added bonus that underscores the initiative's strength and the Alumni team's extraordinary efforts.”

CASE’s Circle of Excellence awards received over 4,000 nominations globally and honours exceptional work in educational advancement, including alumni relations, communications and marketing.

Alumni business owners are encouraged to complete this form to join the directory.
