Join us in Point Cook and discover your career in Aviation and Flight Training! 

At RMIT Aviation Academy Open Day, our experienced flight instructors and students are on standby to talk to you about the range of career opportunities in aviation. 

Take a tour of RMIT's dedicated flight training facilities at Point Cook and learn why being the only flight school on a dedicated RAAF base means more take-offs and more hours in the air. 

Our entire fleet of aircraft will be on display, including the multi-engine Piper Seminole and Super Decathlon used for aerobatic manoeuvres. Come along and meet our RMIT Flight Instructors, current students, and industry experts. You can also find the answers to all your questions and learn everything there is to know about becoming a pilot.

We will also be running information sessions throughout the day, these sessions will go for 30 minutes and run at the following times:

  • 11.00am - 11.30am
  • 1.00pm - 1.30pm
  • 2.30pm - 3.00pm

You'll also have the opportunity to view our flight simulators, enjoy a free barbeque and coffee. 

Please note: All persons over 18 attending the event site or carparks must produce Photo ID in line with Australian Defence Force requirements; this includes current Australian Driver’s License, proof of age card or an Australian or International passport. This is so that we can ensure a smooth check-in process on the day. Please note, attendee registration is a must, with one attendee per car required to register.

Bendigo Aviation Academy Open Day

  • Time: 10.00am – 3.00pm  
  • Cost: Free
  • Location: RMIT Bendigo Airfield, 35 Victa Road, East Bendigo VIC  

Join us in Bendigo and discover your career in Aviation and Flight Training. 

At RMIT Aviation Academy Open Day, our experienced flight instructors are on standby to talk to you about the range of career opportunities in aviation. 

Take a guided tour of RMIT's new and dedicated flight training facility at Bendigo Airport. On display will be examples from our brand-new fleet of aircraft.

 Come along and meet our RMIT Flight Instructors, current students, and industry experts. You can also find the answers to all your questions and learn everything there is to know about becoming a pilot.

We will also be running information sessions throughout the day, these sessions will go for 30 minutes and run at the following times.
